MapSearch Web Service Information

This Web Service returns the lowest fuel prices for 71
individual sub-regions around Australia.
These sub-regions are encompassed in 8 parent regions, which are
6 Major Cities in Australia, as well as the Gold and Sunshine Coasts in Queensland. Each sub-region has a numerical unique
identifier (sub-region ID).
For example, the parent region Brisbane, sub-region “South” has the sub-region
ID of 7.
This number is what is required to be parsed to this web
service, to display the fuel prices for that sub-region.
Sub-regions together with their IDs, grouped by their parent
regions are available as a Comma Separated Value
(CSV) file for download.
For your convenience, we have provided image maps for each of
the parent regions. The above CSV file also contains the HTML area map
co-ordinates for the child sub-regions within each of the maps provided.
You are not required to use these maps exclusively, and as such, we have
provided photoshop source files where available, so that you may change them as you see fit.
Maps for each parent region (displaying their sub-regions) are available for
download below.
Below is an example for the region of Brisbane, please click on any sub-region
to view some sample code in action.
